karlssonwilker: Wolf-Gordon

A campaign for Wolf-Gordon by design team karlssonwilker.  Four ads were developed as a teaser campaign of sorts, leading up to NeoCon (National Exposition of Contract Furnishings), which is held annually at the Merchandise Mart building in Chicago. The first ad showed a rough sketch of an idea of a structure. The second, third and fourth ads showed more fleshed out designs for the final installation.

The final “Escalator Canopy” was composed of more than 250 sides, which were covered in various Wolf-Gordon products, including upholstery textiles, wallcoverings and mirrors. It was roughly 30 feet long and weighed around 1,380 pounds.  Additional design, fabrication and installation of the canopy was done by the fabulous people at The Guild, Brooklyn.

Graphics from the ad campaign were then used for all of Wolf-Gordon’s marketing and sales initiatives for 2012, from showroom graphics and trade show booths to sketchbooks and brochure covers.
