Steven Wilson in The New York Times Magazine
Steven Wilson was recently asked to contribute a typographic piece for the New York Times Magazine’s On Language column. The column is a weekly reflection on current usage of the English language; since 2005 The New York Times have commissioned illustrators to experiment with with typographical play in conjunction with stories’ headlines.
The above piece by Steven Wilson was commissioned for an article about the word “cool” being appropriated as a common way of expressing approval or assent.
