Mexico shot by Trujillo/Paumier for Conde Nast Traveler

Trujillo/Paumier traveled to Mexico to capture the people, food and landscape of Vallarta, Merida, Oaxaca and D.F (Mexico City) for the October issue of Conde Nast Traveler.

We asked Joaquin Trujillo for a few words about the shoot:

“I love Mexico. What is not to love about Mexico?  Shooting this insert for Conde Nast was an honor, especially as Mexico celebrates their Biannual.  The trip took us from Uxmal on the gulf of Mexico, to Tenochtitlan in the center of the country.   The past to the present, Oaxaca are the Mayas and Aztecs of today.  And to the ocean of golden Vallarta, keeping their 17th century charm, mixed with the new modern Mexico City of today.  All I have to say is thanks to Conde Nast, to ask us to shoot Mexico, to travel to these amazing places, a country I am so proud to be from.”
